So this past weekend , the first legion of sorts skate trip went down. The original line up for this trip was composed of 5 persons (3 skaters and 2 filmers), but thanks to some lame excuses like &#xu2;01D Oh dude I couldn&#xu2;019t wake up!&#xu2;01D or &#xu2;01CSorry I got wasted last night&#xu2;01D or &#xu2;01D My dog ate my board&#xu2;026&#xu2;01D, only one skater ( Brian Smith) and one filmer (myself) showed up at the train station&#xu2;026. The original plan was to bring the whole group to Bengbu in Anhui province but when we arrived at the station we couldn&#xu2;019t get any tickets so we decided to head to Nanjing (China&#xu2;019s Ancient Capital city) where we knew there was a skateboard photographer called Terry living there. We met up with him there and he showed us around a couple of spots, he took good care of us, thanks god he was around because neither of me or Brian had been to Nanjing before so we didn&#xu2;019t have any idea about the spots there. Seeing as how the lion's share of the footage we've been sitting on was produced over his last couple of years riding for Blueprint, Vaughan recently decided that instead of leaving his footage to gather digital dust on our hard-drives until the video is released, he'd prefer for it to be made available now, then start filming for the project afresh towards the end of the year once he's made a full recovery. So, here it is in all its raw glory - no incidental footage, no properly thought out intro or complex editing, simply unseen Vaughan Baker skateboarding set to the track of his choice. If you'd prefer not to watch this on some five-inch window on your computer, the edit will also be available as a DVD extra on the Sidewalk video.
